My first short story was published in 1997. It would be many years until the next one. I love the tight container of the short story, and belong to a flash fiction writing group from which many of my short story ideas come. Currently, I am working on a collection of short stories that tell the story of my adoption from many different witnesses, with the tentative title of “Alice Stephens by Kim Sook.” *The asterisked stories belong to that collection.
